I just bought 4 packs of Hostess Cupcakes at the Kaweah General Store in Three Rivers, CA. Their “best by” (pull date) is 12/20/12, so I believe they are, indeed, the last batch.
I drove a Hostess route out of Winslow, AZ in the late 1990’s. Carried these and other Hostess/Wonder products all over the ‘Rez’ and sold the heck out of ’em (still have some old route uniform shirts and a satin jacket).
I’ll share these last ones with my brother and sister-in-law over Christmas.
Sad to see Hostess go.
