Watertown By The Numbers – Watertown Real Estate Market February 2009
The Watertown Real Estate Numbers for February 2009:
In Massachusetts it takes about six to eight weeks for a property sale to close from the time an offer is accepted. So February market data reflect sales activity from December and January. Here’s the February 2009 Watertown market statistics:
95 properties were on the market in Watertown on February 28, 2009. The lowest priced property was listed for $204,000, the most expensive for $1,395,000. Average days on market was 138.
12 residential properties sold (closed) in Watertown during February with an average sales price of $297,958. The median sales price was $303,250. Average days on market was 101.
Two Watertown single families sold in February, one home sold for $395,000 and another house sold for $439,000.
10 condominiums sold in February. The least expensive condominium sold for $174,000. The most expensive Watertown condo sold in February closed for $414,000. The median condo sales price was $272,500. Condos sold for an average of 96% of the asking price. Average days on market was 114.
No multi-family sales closed in February.
Total Watertown residential real estate sales volume closed in February was $3,575,500.
